I currently have an IPAQ HP 4355 and I'm ready to upgrade. I know ppc are a dying breed, so I'm conflicted about what to buy next. Should I buy a smartphone even though I won't be using it as a phone just to get the newest technology and the latest windows OS, or is it better to buy the best ppc last released (I was leaning towards iPAQ hx2795 or maybe Dell Axium x51v)?

If you don't want to use the phone feature, you might want to go with the Dell or HP models you mentioned-- they're quite nice and you'll be able to get support (if needed) direct from the manufacturer rather than going through a carrier with whom you don't have a contract.
