LG Mobile today announced that the LG-KS20 is now available in major European countries today. The LG-KS20 runs Windows Mobile 6, has a touchscreen, built-in WiFi and HSDPA support. Here is more info from LG's announcement:

"Feature highlights:

- 2.8" Wide LCD, full flat Touch Screen and Stylish & Slim look (12.8mm)
- Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6, Push E-mail, WiFi connectivity
- First work from LG?s next generation high technology phone category product line weighing in with high technology, along with LG Viewty phone (model: LG-KU990)
As a product completed with LG Mobile?s intensive know-how on the mobile phone, LG-KS20 received an overwhelmingly favorable response from the press and the parties concerned, by winning ?Choice Product? for ?Product Highlight? at ?IFA 2007? held in Berlin, Germany from last Aug. 31 through Sep. 5.

LG-KS20, a smart phone strategically launched by LG based on various multimedia features, is a product the target of which has been expanded from the biz market that used to be the existing smart phone?s core market to the consumer market.

Pursuing high technology along with LG ?Viewty? Phone (model: LG-KU990), LG-KS20 is expected to be the first product strategically launched from the line of the next generation High Technology Category products.

Compatible with highly advanced HSDPA networks, LG-KS20 allows users to enjoy the full benefits of 3.6Mbps high speed mobile internet, including downloading of music, video clips and Windows Live content, as well as push e-mail. HSDPA technologies receive data at 3.6Mbps, which is the speed of over 7 times faster than the widely-used WCDMA phones.

Also, LG-KS20 provides full Internet browsing functions such as full screen display, favorites and shortcuts. It presents a PC-like Internet page and allows free and unrestricted web surfing.

A completely full flat touch screen doubles convenience in using mobile internet through a fluent and direct interaction as well as a perfect minimal & stylish design. LG-KS20 realized an intuitive touch system with enhanced convenience for users to be able to input instructions with a stylus or pen, as well as fingertips.

The phone is also equipped with a host of other advanced features such as WiFi connectivity, natural handwriting recognition, 128MB internal memory, Micro SD external memory and Bluetooth 2.0, and is powered by the Windows Mobile 6.

In the mean time, stylish micro site designed to deliver LG-KS20?s feature highlights has just opened. You can meet the detailed demonstration if you visit http://ks20.lgmobile.com

LG-KS20 will be available for purchase from today in major retail outlets across Europe."
