The follow up to the OQO model 01 addresses most of our complaints and makes for a very impressive and usable handheld PC. The model 02 runs Windows XP or Vista (your choice), on a VIA processor ranging from 1.2 to 1.6GHz. We take a look at the new "best with SSD" mode which is OQO's top-of-the-line 1.6GHz UMPC with a gig of RAM and a 32 gig SSD drive. WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR are on board and EVDO rev. A is a welcome option. The OQO is EMR pen-friendly, has a gorgeous 800 x 480 display and a much improved thumb keyboard. But like the Sony UX, it's not for the light-of-wallet, running from $1,300 to $2,500.
