My 6925 continually (3 to 4 times daily)shuts off and cannot be powered on until the battery is taken out and reinserted. I can then power on and go through the boot up. The battery has been replaced. Any suggestions?

Have you tried a hard reset (inconvenient because it wipes out all your data but it will fix corrupted OS file related problems). If you have, then it could be the contacts that connect to the battery are out of whack which means sending it in for repair.

I thought pulling the battery was a hard reset. Please explain true hard reset. Thanks in advance.

That's a soft reset-- like rebooting a computer. A hard reset wipes out everything and is similar to formating your computer's hard drive. On the iPAQ you have to press several buttons at once to hard reset it. The manual should tell you which ones under the troubleshooing section. Sorry I don't remember the button combo offhand.
