Blackberry 8320

Is an unlocked Blackberry 8320, using an AT&T sim card, capable of using WIFI hot spots for calls and web browsing? I am referring to the free WIFI at your local coffee shops, etc., not T-Mobile hot spots or T-Mobile@Home wireless.

Data for web and email will work but not UMA calls over Wifi.
