MobileTechReview Forum, News and Reviews: Taking Field Data

I take field pictures and data. Currently I am juggling (often in wind, cold and rain):
-- Good quality camera.
-- GPS receiver for recording waypoint coordinates.
-- Compass, for picture direction.
-- Paper notebook, for notes about the picture.
-- Pencil to write in the notebook.
And then I spend the next day on the office computer integrating all this info into a table.

I am enough of a gadget freak to know that all these functions are available on gadgets, but not enough of a gadget freak to know if they are conveniently available on one gadget.

Ideally, I want the gadget to take a good picture, and record the picture number, GPS coordinates, direction, and notes from a keyboard into a table that can be downloaded to a computer.

Any suggestions?
