OK, 1) what makes you think there are aliens out there? We've had some good imagery of the Solar planets lately, and guess what? No signs of live. And 2) Earth has been around for millions of years and we still don't have prove of aliens visiting us. What are the odds we will see any in the next millions of years? Further more 3) you have been watching too many SciFi movies and TV programs that you are forgetting the facts!
Although it would be cool to see an alien one day, but logically and statistically speaking it's almost impossible.

4) BMorgan's grammar and spelling would scare the aliens back to their home planet.
5) Apparently, some people cannot distinguish between fiction (as in, a video game where we have already established that we are pretending aliens exist) and reality. So a person like that would probably chase away the aliens in his/her Super Star Destroyer.

Oh, was that some sort of X-Files thing? My bad.
6) If there were only super-intelligent beings left, there wouldn't be anyone to handle politics or tech support.
7) We need a chance to see Wall-E.
8) Ratings for all TV shows would instantly hit zero, which would be a huge drop for everyone except King of the Hill.
