Whenever I am on the phone I can hear the person clear but they tell me it sounds like im far away. I checked the earphone volume and it's all the way up. I looked in the manual and it said push the /\ or \/ key ?? where is that? It also said to make sure the microphone is on...how do you do that? Could someone please help!!?

Those symbols might indicate the side vol up and down keys? I don't think there is a way to turn the mic off (other than using mute when in a call). But the BJII has very good outgoing call quality. Maybe when you hold the phone, the palm of your hand is blocking the mic hole? It's at the bottom corner of the front face below the camera shortcut key on the keyboard. If that isn't it, then there might be a hardware problem with the phone.
