This is probably a very simple question, but I'm prepared to show my simplicity if it answers my query. I know I should have been syncing before, but I never bothered doing this until now. Thanks for your last answer, unfortunately, I think my E310 does have a hardware fault, therefore, I'm not sure how long my E310 will last. Because of the uncertain future working of the E310, first thing every morning, I sync the PDA to my PC using MS ACTIVESYNC, then, during the day, as I perform each item on the E310's calendar list (usually entered as "all day" events), I delete them from the PDA's memory. That is fine until the next day, when I run sync again, I get all the old events back again from the PC. Obviously, I'm entering/deleting my calendar events incorrectly. Could someone tell me how it should be done?
Thanks, Gerald

ActiveSync should respect that you've deleted the appointments on your device and thus remove them from the desktop too. I don't know why it's gotten confused there-- you're not doing anything wrong. What version of ActiveSync are you running?
