O2's iPhone Pre-Order Site Can't Stand 'High Levels' of Demand
      #30693 - 07/07/08 02:40 PM

According to UK's telegraph, O2's iPhone pre-order site has crashed and customers who didn't get in before the crash will have to go into store just like the rest of us at 8am on July 11th. Here is a blurb and the a link to the telegraph:

"However, the company clearly hadn't anticipated the response. Those who logged on at 8am this morning, when the pre-orders opened, found the site sluggish and unresponsive. Within a couple of hours pre-orders had stopped completely and, though the main O2 website remined online, visitors who planned to upgrade were greeted with a message saying "our upgrade online shop is currently unavailable".
