t-mob mda compact 3 and ipod touch

i've just bought an ipod touch that has wi-fi but i only get to use that at home. is there any way of converting my compact 3 to transmit data (gprs internet) via wi-fi? any additional dongles to buy etc?

That would be a neat idea, but there's no way to do it. Apple wants you to buy an iPhone instead, I'm afraid.
