Hi... GPS functionality is on a number of RIM handsets... which is probably good for the users to figure out where they are ("oh, I am so-o-o-o lost"), but is there a background feature in the RIM handset that allows remote challenge-response from the controlling BES to find out exactly where the handset is? Without the user knowing?
As in "I'm at customer XYZ", whereas the GPS response says he's at the bosses house 20 miles away, possibly shagging the bosses wife....? {re:USA, search wikipedia or see an 'Austin Powers' DVD for translation of 'shagging')

As far as I know, there's no way for BES or BIS to know where you are via the GPS chipset. But that won't save one from possible other complications of shagging the boss's wife or hubby .
