Resco has released MobileForms Toolkit 2008 Volume 3. The new version of this popular suite of Visual Studio components designed specifically for mobile devices will be released on October 27, 2008. Here is more info:
The main improvements in Resco MobileForms Toolkit 2008 Volume 3 are in the area of data input into the mobile devices with touch screen.
"The data input in limited interface of mobile devices is one of the biggest recent challenges for programmers dealing with mobile applications", said Gabriel Minarik, Rescos component developer. "And challenges like these exist to be overcome; at least thats what we think at Resco."
A real answer to this challenge is Rescos new control called CustomKeyboard. CustomKeyboard is a mighty control which solves a majority of problems with entering data into mobile devices.
Main features of CustomKeyboard:
* Easily designable keyboard layout according to ones needs * Layout activation control enables developers to predefine the keyboard layout according to the type of input data * Advanced graphic capabilities with support of different skins * Adjustable location of keyboard on one form * More keyboards on one form * XML Templates saving of layouts to external files
CustomKeyboard has been available as a Beta version since September 3rd, 2008.
"Weve got thousands of positive reactions and new impulses on CustomKeyboard since we launched the Beta version", said Radomir Vozar, Resco's Enterprise Solutions division director. "And of course, we plan to implement the majority of them into the full version." Pricing and Availability
