Blog: What Apple Doesn't Want You To Know
      #31796 - 11/07/08 05:49 PM

Jacob has posted another blog entry, this time is about Apple's censorship.

"We all know that Apple censors their discussion forums. There have certainly been lengthy arguments about this in the past, often leading to people pointing out that Apple is within their legal rights to censor their forums, since it is their own private property. But even if it is legal, the fact is that Apple's discussion moderators have ethical standards that are questionable at best.

For example, Apple doesn't want you to know about, a site that provides a video recording app for iPhones. The problem with the app is that it is unofficial and only works on jailbroken phones (although the developers claim to be working on a version for the App Store). Apple doesn't support jailbreaking your iPhone, so it is understandable that Apple wouldn't want people posting instructions or links that help people perform the actual process of jailbreaking."
