I love this phone, but the battery life is the shortest I've ever experienced with any phone that I have had. I'm going from a Palm Treo 700wx to Omnia i910. I've never had a problem looking for an extra battery. Does anyone out there know where I can get another 1440mAH - 3.7 V SAMSUNG battery that doesnt cost an arm and a leg? Please help, my whole life is on this phone!!!

I was thinking about buying one of these, but the battery issue is a deal breaker.

The battery is not a problem anymore. I did find some on Ebay... so now I just carry two batteries, but really only find myself using one battery. The pro's out weigh the con's by far! Let me know if you want the link for the site where I got the battery.

It seems like it's not only the Omnia with a battery problem. Many Samsung models seem to have low capacity batteries.
