Lenmar Power Solutions for Mobile Phones: Solar Charger and PowerPort Hub
      #32413 - 01/17/09 07:52 PM

Lenmar unveiled several new power solutions for mobile phones, PDAs and iPods in 2009. Among them are a solar USB charger and a PowerPort Hub Universal Charging Station. Here are the details of these Lenmar mobile device power charging solutions:

Lenmar PowerPort Solar

The PowerPort Solar is a portable Lithium-ion battery with its own built-in solar panel. When fully charged, this ultra-compact, carry anywhere external battery will use its own power to give up to five full charges to portable electronic devices like cell phones, PDAs and media players without access to an AC plug. The PowerPort Solar will even provide devices with hours of backup power while charging. When it?s time to recharge, simply connect the PowerPort Solar to any USB power port or, if that?s not available, the battery can recharge itself with the built-in solar panel.

The PowerPort Solar charger and battery includes adapter tips for the iPhone/iPod, Blackberry, Motorola RAZR/Q and many more. Also included are standard USB tips allowing it to be recharged from a computer or any USB charging cable. Lenmar also backs the PowerPort Solar with a two-year warranty and the MSRP is $59.95.

Lenmar PowerPort Hub Universal Charging Station

Lenmar's PowerPort Hub Universal Charging Station is the attractive answer to the charging needs of a house full of portable electronic devices, as well as an efficient way for employees to recharge during a meeting, conference call or even in the lunchroom.

The PowerPort Hub is a family or business charging station that will simultaneously charge up to six mobile devices at once, including cell phones, MP3 players and PDAs.

The PowerPort Hub has two built-in USB ports that customers can use with cables they already have, and it features four cables that accept Lenmar's universal tips for their current devices, as well as new devices they purchase in the future. Including tips that fit Motorola, Blackberry, iPhone/iPod, Samsung, LG, and all devices that use Mini-USB connections. When not in use, these extra tips can be stored in the PowerPort Hub's convenient internal storage compartment while the unused universal cable ends tuck neatly under the unit for a tidy, uncluttered look. Additional adapter tip packages are available from Lenmar for various cell phones, smart phones, MP3 players and handheld video games. The MSRP is $79.95.
