I bought a Ipaq RX3715 about 3 years ago. Could not imagine going a day without it. If I replace it with a Windows mobile 6 version smart phone can I still use the same applications that I ave purchased? or do I have to repurchase each application again?

You should be able to continue using the same applications. In rare cases really old apps that have never been updated over the years might have problems, but generally most commercial software works just fine. Check to make sure you have the latest versions before upgrading your device to make sure things go smoothly.
