I've got a Daxian X999 chinese iphone. But can't connect to the vodafone New Zealand network? It has windows mobile 6 software installed on it. Do i need a universal sim?
I go to start, settings, phone, network and then select (find network) and then it says,
cannot register on selected network. choose another network, or disconnect your data connection and try again.
What does that mean!

Are you using a Vodafone NZ SIM card? It sounds like you're using a SIM card from another provider who doesn't have a roaming agreement with Vodafone.
