ASUS has launched the P30A business notebook running on an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 processor with 4GB SDRAM. It features a magnesium alloy construction for strength and ShockShield for data protection. The notebook measures only 1-inch in profile and weighs 1.49kg (3.28 lbs.). The ASUS P30A also has fingerprint scanner with Al Secure Delete software and the ASUS Xpress Charge technology that allows users to charge the notebook to 90% battery in 90 minutes.
The 13-inch notebook also has a 1366 x 768 LED backlit display that supports 16.9 HD ratio. A Scene Switch feature switches between personal and business desktop modes, saving users the hassle of changing desktop and wallpaper settings individually. A 1.3 megapixel webcam provides the ability to conduct video conferencing while on the move, while a full range of ports?including a HDMI port?allows for versatile connectivity to other multimedia devices at work or at home.
