Palm's revolutionary new Pre smartphone, which is coming to Sprint in the near future (possibly as soon as next month), has been public knowledge since the company unveiled it at CES last January. So it's perfectly fine for anyone to talk about Sprint's shiny new phone... except, apparently, Sprint.
Prethinking.com reports that, as Sprint Store employees are in the process of receiving training for the Palm Pre, this restriction became painfully clear at a recent staff meeting at an unspecified Sprint Store. The site claims that three of the employees had discussed the Pre with customers and alleges that, during the staff meeting, a supervisor informed these three employees that they had violated an NDA they had signed and terminated them immediately.
The "moral of the story" is that, for those of you who work at Sprint Stores, make sure you don't mention the Pre "Pre-maturely" - and for those of you who shop at Sprint Stores and dislike some of the sales people, try to start a conversation about... well actually, that part would be the "immoral of the story."
