Konami Digital Entertainment today announced that Metal Gear Solid Touch will be available for a pricepoint of $2.99 on the App Store from August 13 - August 15. Based on the top-selling franchise that pioneered the stealth-action genre, Metal Gear Solid Touch features diverse battles and intuitive touch shooting controls for iPhone and iPod touch users.
Developed by Kojima Productions and designed specifically for the iPhone and iPod touch, Metal Gear Solid Touch unfolds in five chapters over a span of the 20 stages with familiar enemies attempting to keep Old Snake from accomplishing his mission. Players join forces with Old Snake as he battles the money-driven mercenaries of Private Military Companies (PMCs), Haven Troopers, Gekko, and the beautiful yet terrifying bosses of the B&B Corps. This commercial warfare adventure follows Old Snake across the Middle East, South America, Eastern Europe, and Shadow Moses as he depletes his enemies' stamina with various short-range and long-range weapons. Metal Gear Solid Touch features twenty levels of gameplay and well-known antagonists from the past. The title is set in the immersive world of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and created with the concept of allowing players to "touch" upon the world of Metal Gear Solid.
