My PPC screen had a Belkin clear plastic screen protector. Went fishing in the hot sun, came home and removed the plastic Belkin screen protector. Some of the gummy substance stayed on the screen. How can I remove this substance without ruinning my screen?

Get some iKlear screen cleaning solution or wipes. It's sold at Apple stores, Fry's and perhaps Best Buy.
