AT&T to Offer HP Mini 110 Netbook with 3G and Windows 7 Starting This Sunday
      #35192 - 11/20/09 04:10 PM

ATT today announced it will begin selling the HP Mini 110 in its stores nationwide and online at beginning Sunday, Nov. 22.

The HP Mini features built-in access to ATT's 3G network and Wi-Fi network, and includes the new Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.

It will be available for $199 after mail-in rebate via an AT&T Promotion Card and a two-year data service contract.

With a starting weight of 2.57 pounds, the HP Mini 110 offers a 10.1 inch LED anti-glare widescreen display, 1GB of memory, an Intel Atom processor, a 160GB hard drive, and an HP webcam with an integrated microphone. It comes with HP QuickSync to enable automatic synching of files saved on the Mini with a home or work PC when connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Plus, the HP Mini 110 is backed by superb HP service and support.

The $199 netbook pricing requires the purchase of a new two-year AT&T DataConnect plan ? including a 200MB plan option for a newly reduced price of $35 per month or a 5GB plan for $60 per month. AT&T DataConnect plans offer consumer and small business subscribers access to the nation?s fastest 3G network, along with free use of AT&T Wi-Fi service, featuring more than 20,000 hot spots nationwide.

Windows 7 was designed to be more reliable, more responsive, and to make the things you do every day easier, from finding the documents you need, to playing music or video files. In particular, Windows 7 makes small netbook PCs easier to use because it puts less between you and what you want to do ? less waiting, less clicking, less hassle connecting to networks. So you get the latest in reliability and responsiveness with the familiarity and compatibility of Windows. More details on Windows 7 can be found on Microsoft?s site here:

The HP Mini also comes equipped with AT&T Communication Manager (ACM) 7.0 featuring a redesigned user-friendly interface, making it easy for customers to manage their usage and connections. The newly revamped Communication Manager automatically connects users to available AT&T Hot Spots when the program is activated. ACM is designed to be compatible with Windows 7 for in-market and previously launched devices.
