Here's our video of Palm's second webOS smartphone, the Palm Pixi. Like the Palm Pre, the Pixi is available on Sprint in the US, and the Pixi sells for a bit less at 99 dollars with a 2 year contract. It's the spiritual successor to the popular Palm Centro, sporting a similar design and keyboard, but running Palm's new OS. It's small, it's light and nice looking, though plasticky.
Specs include a capacitive 2.6" touch screen running at 320 x 400 resolution with an accelerometer (lower color depth and lower resolution than the Palm Pre), 8 gigs of storage, no card slot, USB mass storage support for transferring files, a GPS that works with Sprint Navigation and Bluetooth. It does not have WiFi.
Here's our 8 minute video review. Our written review will follow in the coming days.
