New iPhone Game: Orbital Defence Now Available in the iTunes App Store
      #35234 - 11/25/09 03:47 PM

membraine studios has released a flick-based shoot 'em-up game for the iPhone and iPod Touch, Orbital Defence, to the iTunes App Store.

Orbital Defence is an arcade-style, flick-based shoot 'em-up (flick-shmup) for the iPhone and iPod Touch reminiscent of the great shoot-'em-ups of the past, such as Galaga, Missile Command and Space Invaders.

What makes Orbital Defence unique is its flick-based control system, which makes the most of the iPhone's touch-oriented control surface?the result of which is a highly playable and great fun shoot 'em up that you can play in a cafe, on the train, on the bus, in the pub...anywhere you take your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Orbital Defence offers a 12-level Campaign mode to post your scores and track your ranking on the Worldwide Leaderboards, as well as Survival mode, where accuracy and planning are thrown out the window and your only goal is to survive as long as you can.

You can purchase Orbital Defence via the iTunes App Store using the following URL: http://itunes.com/apps/OrbitalDefence
