I am trying to decide on a new Verizon smartphone and there seems to be many pros and cons to the Omnia ll, Imagio and Droid. Have you finished your review of the Omnia ll yet and is it a better business phone than the Imagio, or at least equal to it? The Droid seems cool, but I am concerned about syncing to my companies Exchange server. What are your recommendations?

I'd say the Imagio is a better business phone than the Omnia II. The Omnia II is meant more to be a crossover phone from Samsung TouchWiz feature phones, and the eye candy gets in the way of expedient business use. The Droid will sync fine to Exchange, but the Omnia has the edge for advanced Exchange and Outlook features- Microsoft has the advantage since they make both products .

Can you explain this from another post for someone not super tech savy: "The Droid can do everything you listed except syncing to Outlook on the desktop. The Droid, like all Android phones except the HTC Eris and HTC Hero, doesn't sync to PIM desktop applications."? If it syncs with Exchange Server, what won't it do that a WinMo phone will?

The Droid won't sync to Outlook installed on your PC using a USB cable or Bluetooth. WinMo phhones have always been able to sync to Outlook on the PC. Some folks don't use Exchange server (a service usually supplied by employers) but they do want to sync their phones to Outlook on their PCs.

In our cell phone case store, Motorola Droid cases are the most popular ones, which means, most people choose Droid.
