The ThinkPad X100e is a tweener: it's faster and has better specs than a netbook but it's not quite bright enough to compete with full-sized notebooks. The 11.6" baby ThinkPad features that line's usual impressive build quality and wonderful keyboard. Somehow Lenovo managed to fit their UltraNav dual point stick and trackpad device in this 3.3 lb. netbook too. It has a bright 1366 x 768 LED backlit display, an AMD Neo CPU with ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics for some extra 3D punch and WiFi b/g/n. 2 gigs of RAM and a 250 gig hard drive are standard on our model and mobile broadband is optional. The X100e has become our favorite netbook and better yet, it's about one third the price of the X201.
