MacNN reports that Apple has announced it will be previewing the next major revision of the iPhone OS this Thursday, May 8.
Promotions for the event hint that Apple will be providing a sneak peek at iPhone OS 4, which some rumors indicate may finally add multitasking to the iPhone OS.

I don't care about multi-tasking but SO HOPE they'll finally introduce folders or some other organizing like feature so I can not only have more than 11 pages of apps, but organize them according to different categories.
