Nokia has released a new software update for the Nokia X6 and the Nokia 5230 music phone, that includes new features, application updates and performance improvements. The new features include changes to the web browser, social networking updates. Here is more info:
The latest incarnation promises a range of enhancements including a leap to the latest version of the web browser, taking it to 7.2. Alongside that comes the addition of LifeCasting with Ovi Maps. Want to let your friends on Facebook know where you are? Hit a Lifecasting update and your location will be shared right there on Facebook.
Kinetic scrolling makes its way deeper into the menu, too, with its arrival in grid view to make navigation the devices easier and faster. Both updates will also bring over the air software and app update polling, so it?ll tell you when you?ve got updates available.
Other updates of note include Flash video Phase 3 along with an updated version of Ovi Sync 2.0 and Ovi Music.
