Last week we reported that if you bring your nook or mobile device loaded with Barnes and Noble Reader app into any Barnes and Noble store, show it to a store associate, and you'll receive a promo code that entitles you to download a free ebook from bestselling authors.
The first free ebook was Alexander McCall Smith's "The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency" and this week's free ebook is Jim Butcher's Storm Front. We have a free access code below which will save you a trip to a B&N store. The code is valid through this Sunday and you must have a B&N account.
Free ebook access code: G7TGM4E456A7
Once you get the promo code, you can use that code to download the book for free by entering the access code at bn.com/redeem . You can read the book on your nook, computer, iPhone or BlackBerry running the B&N Reader app.
Aw, already used up within the first hour. That was quick!
The post last week made it sound like you have to own a nook to be eligible. Can you get a free book if you bring in an iPad running the BN eReader app?

Anything with the B&N reader installed qualifies, but it might be hard to drag your desktop computer to the store . Among supported products and platforms are the IREX DR800SG ebook reader, notebooks, iPhone, iPad, the HTC HD2 smartphone that has the B&N Reader factory installed.
