SoundID has announed three new additions to their 5 Series Product line-up: The Sound ID 500 Bluetooth headset, the Sound ID 512 Bluetooth Headset with Ear Print and the Sound ID 520 Bluetooth Headset with Ear Print.
- The Sound ID 500 is an entry level headset that offers all of the latest Bluetooth innovations including A2DP for music enjoyment, 2X NoiseNavigation for eliminating background noise and Touch Sensor Volume Control as well a lightweight ergonomic design to ensure all-day wearing comfort. The 500 is not compatible with the Ear Print App.
- The Sound ID 512 has all of the latest technology advancements for Bluetooth Headsets - including A2DP, 3X NoiseNavigation, Multi-Point Technology with an added benefit - compatibility with the EarPrint App for Android 2.1/2.2 and select Blackberry devices. With the EarPrint App, users enjoy Personal Sound customization, Sound Level management, Battery Life status and a Find Me option all from the App on their Blackberry or Android device.
- The Sound ID 520 also brings A2DP, 3X NoiseNavigation, Multi-Point Technology and much more in addition to compatibility with the EarPrint App for iPhone, Android 2.1/2.2 and select Blackberry devices.
Sound ID launched the EarPrint App back in June for the iPhone and now it will be available for Blackberry and Droid devices this coming Q4. The EarPrint gives the user the ability to manage their Bluetooth Headset from the screen of their mobile device.
The Sound ID 520, 512 and 510 offer the following features:

Compatibility: All three products in the Sound ID 5 Series are compatible with any Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.
Personal Sound via EarPrint The Sound ID EarPrint app offers personalized audio performance for Phone, Media (A2DP) and Pass Thru mode, which transforms the headset into a one-of-a kind sound system. The Sound ID 520 is the only headset on the market to offer EarPrint compatibility with the iPhone, select BlackBerry devices and Android 2.1/2.2 devices. The 512 offers EarPrint compatibility exclusively for select BlackBerry devices and Android 2.1/2.2 devices.
Pricing and Availability The Sound ID 520, 512 and 500 will be available in Q4 and range in price from MSRP $79.99 - $129.99. All units come with a small, energy efficient Universal AC travel charger (100-240 VAC), USB charging cable, three sizes of RealComfort EarLoops and an Ear Hook for an alternative over-the-ear wearing option. The 520 and 512 also come with a clip holster carrying case.
Sound ID plans to release the EarPrint app for Windows 7 Mobile and Symbian devices Q4 2010.
