We're on a rugged case kick lately for iOS devices. This time we take a look at Otterbox seriously protective cases for the iPad. The Defender is mucho macho with a rigid case plus silicone covering. The Commuter is a bit tamer, and might not be suitable for a hike through the Rockies but it will keep your iPad safe from excessively rough commutes, drops and minor spills. Both cases can act as stands and include a play-thru screen protection layer.
