Clearwire today announced the timing for the commercial launch of the Clearwire 4G network in New York City, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. New York City - November 1
Los Angeles - December 1
San Francisco - late December
Clearwire continues to offer dual-mode 4G/3G USB modems in New York City and Los Angeles in advance of the launch of commercial service.

Today, the Clearwire 4G network is commercially available in 56 markets and covers 66 million people. (Note: These totals do not include New York, Los Angeles or San Francisco.)
