Here's your first firm offer for a Galaxy Tab WITH contract subsidy. Unlike Verizon who's selling it sans contact for $599, Sprint will be selling this lovely Android 2.2 Froyo tablet with a seven inch display for $399 with a 2 year contract. Sprint wil be offering it with their new 3G Tablet Broadband data plan, available in 2 flavors: 2 gigs/month for $29.99 and 5 gigs/month for $59.99.
Also, beginning today, customers can pre-order a tablet at any participating Sprint Store with the purchase of a $50 Sprint gift card. Customers who pre-order Samsung Galaxy Tab will have their name added to the Device Wait List and be contacted to set up an appointment to complete their Samsung Galaxy Tab purchase beginning on Sunday, Nov. 14. Through the pre-order process, customers will have peace of mind knowing they are able to get the device they want and receive the full retail experience, including Sprint?s Ready Now customer service experience. For a refresher, the Galaxy Tab is a 7" Android tablet that does data but not voice in the US versions. It has a 1GHz CPU, a lovely high resolution capacitive touch screen, WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth and a GPS. It runs TouchWiz that's similar to that found ons Samsung's Galaxy S family phones like the Epic 4G, Samsung Captivate and Fascinate.
You betcha we'll have a review soon!
