Playrix Entertainment has announced that its first three internal iPad ports, Fishdom HD, The Rise of Atlantis HD and Brickshooter Egypt HD, are expected to be available on the App Store by the end of November. Company also confirmed plans to bring most of its downloadable games catalogue to the iPad in Q4 2010, with Gardenscapes and Royal Envoy next in line. Here is more info on the three upcoming iPad games from Playrix:
In Fishdom HD, players earn cash by progressing through match-3 boards and solving puzzles to earn virtual cash. They can then use it to purchase exotic fish, ornaments and plants to create an aquarium of their own design. The downloadable Fishdom franchise counts 6 installments, including the recently launched sequel - Fishdom 2. The game was also adapted for Facebook. The first Fishdom rolled out in 2008 and since then won numerous Best Game awards. It was honored with the iParenting Media Award as Best Video Game of 2009.
The Rise of Altantis HD takes players on an adventurous quest around the ancient lands of Greece, Troy, Phoenicia, Babylon, Egypt, Carthage and Rome to gather the seven greatest powers of the patron god of the Atlanteans - Poseidon and, thus, save the legendary sunken continent. The Rise of Atlantis for PC was once called a "top-performing long-liver by Playrix" for staying in Top Ten charts for over 600 days.
In Brickshooter Egypt HD players unravel the mysteries of ancient hieroglyphs that will help them restore the glorious pyramids. A brain-teasing puzzle experience across 60+ exciting levels with stunning graphics and amazing sound is what Brickshooter Egypt has to offer. Brickshooter is one of the earliest Playrix projects that has been showing steadily strong performance across the boards.
