Jellycoaster has released OPTIMAP 1.1, a navigation tool app for iPhone. Though this map app uses Google Maps it adds several new elements for users to find POIs easily and it's more interactive. The map was developed by KIA Motors but it's a stand alone map with some very cool features, like GPS tagged tweets. Check it out:
Users can enjoy the ease of finding their exact location via GPS and using the interactive maps from Google to explore their surroundings. With OPTIMAP, anyone can simply use their toolbar to find restaurants in their present area, parking lots, gas stations, hospitals, and many other services. Real time traffic data is accessible to ensure a quick time of travel.
OPTIMAP let's users plan a journey and calculate their estimated arrival time. The app has a feature which can let the user's friends know if they will be late to their meeting and the new expected arrival time via SMS. OPTIMAP enables the user to tweet and share their location and destinations as well.
