T-Mobile has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S 4G, complete with price and date. This 4G HSPA+ successor to the popular Samsung Vibrant will go on sale for $149 with contract on Feb. 23. Like the Vibrant, it has a 4" Super AMOLED display running at 800 x 480 resolution on a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU.
T-Mobile and Samsung are bundling the movie Inception and the Android 2.2 Froyo phone will have a front facing camera that works with the included Qik video chat app, as well as T-Mobile TV for streaming and downloadable video content and TV episodes. Samsung's Media Hub will also be on board for those of you who want to rent or buy movies and download them to your Super AMOLED darlin'.
