LG Unveils the LG Optimus Pad with an 8.9" Display and Dual Core CPU

LG today unveiled an 8.9" tablet, the LG Optimus Pad at Mobile World Congress 2011. The LG Optimus Pad runs on the NVIDIA Tegra 2 1GHz dual core CPU, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and has a 3D camera (3D Stereoscopic Camera 5MP x 2), HDMI port and will be shipping in world markets beginning in March. Sized at 8.9-inch diagonally LG Optimus Pad has a 1280 x 768 WXGA resolution vividly displays in 15:9 aspect ratio. The LG Optimus Pad has a 3D camera that can capture pictures and videos for viewing on 3D TVs using HDMI with 1080p decoding, or on the web via YouTube 3D.


Serious and casual gamers alike will delight in the wide collection of console-quality games available through the Tegra Zone app that runs seamlessly on the LG Optimus Pad.



The LG Optimus Pad will begin shipping in local markets starting in March.
