Motorola Atrix 4G Video Review with Lapdock and Multimedia Dock
      #40103 - 03/02/11 09:23 AM

We've had the Motorola Atrix 4G on ATT in house for quite a few days now, and there's a lot to like about the world's first Nvidia Tegra 2 smartphone. No kidding, it's fast and managed a Quadrant score of 2481. Once you get used to the speed, a variety of lesser Android phones just seem slow. It's also got a sharp 4" 960 x 540 pixel capacitive display that may not be as colorful as Samsung's Super AMOLED, but it looks quite good.

The phone runs Android OS 2.2 Froyo with Motoblur software. We know, we know-- you're probably not thrilled about Motoblur, but you can turn off any and all of its widgets and install a third party launcher if it's not your cup of tea. It's available now for $199 with contract.

In our 21 minute video we look not just at the phone, but the Lapdock accessory that turns your Atrix into an 11.6" Webtop-powered "sorta" notebook that sells for $500 ($300 with contract and $20/month tethering data plan add-on), and the $189 Multimedia Dock that includes a dock with HDMI and USB ports, Moto's lovely Bluetooth keyboard, a Bluetooth mouse and a remote control.

Here's our video review, and our full written review of the Atrix 4G and optional Lapdock and Multimedia Dock will be here soon.
