The big focus for the US carriers at CTIA 2011 is still 4G expansions as Verizon Wireless today announced an additional 59 markets that will enjoy 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network by the end of this year. These newly named areas, added to the 39 initial markets launched in December 2010 and 49 markets announced at CES in January, increase Verizon LTE 4G footprint to least 147 U.S. cities.
