Huawei today in Singapore launched the MediaPad, a 7" tablet featuring the Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system. The Huawei MediaPad is light and slim, measuring 0.4" and weighs 13.75 oz. The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm dual core 1.2GHz CPU, supports 1080p video playback and has WiFi an dHSPA+ support. The Huawei comes with a rear 5 megapixel camera with HD recording, a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video chat. The Huawei Android Honeycomb tablet has a 7" IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, and has claimed battery life of over 6 hours.
