Current Android phones (OS 2.2 and above) have voice to text, and a phone with a larger display will have a roomier virtual keyboard.
Verizon has quite a large selection of Android phones, and by Voyager standards, they'd all have great cameras. Perhaps we could narrow it down more-- what's your price point, do you care about size, 3G vs. 4G and any brand preference?

No 3g or 4g does'nt matter, brands are not important, I just have to stay on Verizon...I don;t love them but they never drop my calls and cust svc. is great. If it is a virtual kybd. thats ok as long as it's not tiny. I will have to txt in landscape mode anyway. I just thought Android because I could get navigation.

Yep, you'll get navigation and voice to text with Android. The Motorola Droid X2 and Droid 3 are certainly top contenders. One has a large virtual keyboard while the other has a roomy QWERTY.
