Jump Games released the official iOS and Android game based on the action film from DreamWorks Pictures, REAL STEEL. Here is more info:
REAL STEEL is a gritty, white-knuckle action ride about a former boxer (Hugh Jackman) who, against all odds, gets one last shot at a comeback when he teams up with his estranged son (Dakota Goyo) to build and train the perfect contender for the new high-tech sport of robot boxing.
The game, named Real Steel, is an Underworld fighting game set in the near future where 2,000-pound robots fight each other with no rules or regulations. There are eight heavy-duty robots to choose from in the game and each robot has unique fighting styles and signature moves giving the player a chance to choose his preferred robot. The player can use a mix of standard boxing moves, jabs, crosses, hooks, uppercuts, and some specific Underworld moves, such as low blows, knees to stomach, etc. in the fight.
With three difficulty levels ? Easy, Medium, and Hard, the game will allow the player to gain experience and gear up for more difficult fights. With every win, the player will receive upgrade tokens, which can be used to upgrade the robots? characteristics making him stronger. There are various venues where the fights take place ? Parking Lot, Zoo, Saloon and Crash Palace.
The game features two play modes ? Tournament Mode and Free Sparring Mode. The primary objective of the game is to defeat the robot, Midas, in Tournament Mode to unlock all eight robots. The user has only four robots to select from initially. The rest are locked. Once the player has reached the Crash Palace and defeated Midas in Tournament Mode he will then have access to all eight robots in Free Sparring Mode. In this mode, he will be able to select any robot to fight as, any robot to fight against, any arena to fight in and any difficulty level.
