Samsung Galaxy S II on AT&T Video Review
      #41395 - 09/27/11 10:23 AM

Just last week we reviewed Sprint's version of the extremely sucessful Samsung Galaxy S II. Their's is the Samsung Epic 4G Touch and sports a larger display with WiMAX. Big Blue's version sticks with the original formula, and that's not a bad thing since Samsung says they've sold 10 million S II Android smartphones since their April launch.

The Galaxy S II is certainly a superphone, with the fastest CPU on the market, a 4.3" Super AMOLED Plus display, 4G HSPA+ and one of the best 8 megapixel cameras on the US market. The only thing missing is LTE 4G, but AT&T's not ready for that yet. Though fairly large, the phone is only 0.35" thin, making it more pocket-friendly. And it weighs only 4.3 ounces, which is uncannily light for a phone this size.

The Galaxy S II will be available October 2 for $199 with contract. It has a 1.2GHz dual core Samsung Exynos CPU that not only feels extremely fast, but benchmarks 33% faster than the dual core 1GHz Tegra 2. The only drawback? Battery life with the stock 1650 mAh battery isn't so good. Get a spare battery, you'll need it.

Here's our Samsung Galaxy S II on AT&T video review. Our full written review will follow in the coming days.
