Apple sold over 4 million iPhone 4S devices during the first weekend of launch, ATT has activated nearly a quarter of that. ATT today announced it activated more than 1 million iPhone 4S units as of Tuesday, making it the most successful iPhone launch in the company's history. ATT was the first carrier in the world to launch iPhone in 2007 and is the only U.S. carrier to support iPhone 4S with HSPA+ speed. The number of iPhone 4S activations surpassed all previous iPhone model launches in the company's history. So far Sprint also announced the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S launch has brought in the biggest sale numbers in its history.
