Wow, just a few months ago, the Droid Bionic looked so hot. Now we've got the Galaxy Nexus, Droid RAZR and the HTC Rezound coming to Verizon this month. The Rezound is the first US HTC phone with Beats audio, and it sports a 720p Super LCD display, showing that HTC can keep up this the Nexus. Things should look very sharp since all those pixels are packed into 4.3", and the phone should be decently pocket-able.
The Rezound has 4G LTE with the usual mobile hotspot feature, and it runs Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread with a promised upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich "in early 2012". It has an 8 megapixel rear camera with HTC's new backlit sensor and F2.2 lens for low light shooting, a dual LED flash and it can shoot 1080p video. There's a front 2MP video chat camera for you GTalk and Skype fans.
It runs on a dual core 1.5GHz Qualcomm CPU and has a gig of RAM and 16 gigs of internal storage plus a bundled 16 gig microSD card. And of course, it runs the latest version of HTC Sense software.
