Square Enix today released Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for iPad. Final Fantasy Tactics was released for the PlayStation in 1997, and Square Enix re-released it in 2007 as Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for the PSP system with added features such as new cut scenes, scenarios and jobs. The iPhone and iPod touch version was released late last year, and now players can enjoy the world of Ivalice and tactical battles on the iPad. Here is more info on this new iPad game:
Time's river flows unbroken through the ages. And in the torrent, myriad histories whirl. But how much of what they tell us is the truth? And how many truths are forever lost to the river's flow?
In days now long past, the War of the Lions rent the land of Ivalice in two. And it is here that two young men of note first stepped onto history's stage.
The first is a man named Delita Heiral, the hero who would draw the curtain on the War of the Lions, this dark act of Ivalice's history. The other, whose role is now forgotten, is a man by the name of Ramza Beoulve.
Peer through the eyes of these two young men, and uncover the secrets that lie hidden within history's darkened folds.
- Intuitive touch panel controls Navigating the complex tactical RPG landscape is as simple as tapping units and spaces. Setting up is quick and easy as well. - Reduced Wait Times Wait times have been sped up to keep players in the action. Cutscenes can also be skipped.
- Optimized Graphics The game has been designed to fit just right on the iPad's screen.
