CrazyOnDigital makes lots of cases for smartphones, tablets, ebook readers and audio/video players. Their Brown Folio Stand Leather Case with Screen Protector for the Kindle Fire offers plenty of protection for the tablet, and the price is, well, crazy. The Folio case offers a built-in stand, a magnetic cover, a carrying strap and comes with a screen protector. CrazyOnDigital also offers the case in black, red pink and purple.

Design

The Folio Stand Leather Case for the Kindle Fire is a solid and very protective case. The case is made with faux leather with shallow texture and feels nice in hand, and has soft micro fiber interior lining. The case has a tablet holder on the right side that fits the Kindle Fire well, and secures the tablet in the holder with a strong Velcro strip. Both the front and the back covers have stiff and strong inserts, and will certainly protect the Kindle Fire from any scratch, pokes, bumps and even damages from drops. For a strong and protective case, the Folio Stand Leather Case isn't too heavy weighing at 5.6 ounces and doesn't add too much bulk to the tablet. The case has nice and even stitching and comes with a strap for your carrying convenience.

While the case looks nice and feels soft in hand, the chemical smell that permeates some faux leather material is also strong. You will need to air out the case for at least a few days before using it, and it might take weeks before the smell calms down.

Features

The Folio Stand Leather Case from CrazyOnDigital has a steady built-in stand that's easy to use. The back of the tablet holder provides the rigidity and interior of the front cover has faux leather strips to hold up the Kindle Fire. You can position the Kindle Fire in three viewing angles, all in landscape mode. The Folio Stand Leather Case leaves out the corners of the tablet and the bottom ports open. You can use the power button, charging port and the audio jack easily while the Kindle Fire is in the case. Top cutouts leave out the stereo speakers for the device audio to come through.

The Folio Stand Leather Case keeps the front cover shut by adding magnetic coins in both the front cover and the tablet holder. The magnets are just strong enough to keep the front cover closed but doesn't feel too strong for you to worry about damaging the device. The case also comes with a screen protector which is a bonus because the Kindle Fire's display is indeed glary. But the screen protector isn't perfect, while it fits very nicely, it also makes the screen look grainier than it actually is.

Conclusion

The CrazyOnDigital's Folio Stand Leather Case with Screen Protector for the Kindle Fire is a solid case that provides great protection yet stays quite light and reasonably slim. The case protects the entire tablet and has cutouts for all ports, speakers and the power button. It has a steady stand with three viewing angles and a magnetic closure. The faux leather exterior and the micro fiber interior have matching colors and it comes with a hand strap and a screen protector. The case has a strong chemical smell out of box and might take a while to disappear. The screen protector adds some grainy look to the display. Above all, the price almost makes this case an instant buy.
