The iPod Touch, now in its 5th generation hardly needs an introduction. This is a 4" iPhone substitute that does everything except make cellular calls (VoIP calls with Skype and FaceTime are a go). With the iPod Touch 5G you get the iPhone 5's 1136 x 640 Retina display with a much faster CPU and graphics than the outgoing 4th gen iPod Touch. The media player and more runs iOS 6 with goodies like Siri and iMessages. The iPod Touch sports a new and attractive unibody aluminum design that's available in six colors and it weighs just 3.1 ounces. The Touch is available in 32 gig and 64 gig capacities, and it starts at $299, making it a bit pricey.
