The Asus VivoTab has what it takes to beat the kind of Windows 8 transformer Atom tablets, at least on paper. The 11.6" TF810C is their higher end model, not to be confused with the $499 VivoTab Smart with a 10.1" display. The TF810C adds solid features like a larger display, classy metal casing, very good optional keyboard dock with battery and a Wacom digitizer with a lovely full size pen in the box. But the price, oh my. It's the most expensive Intel Atom Windows 8 tablet in the US. The VivoTab TF810C runs on the usual dual core 1.8GHz Intel Atom Clovertrail CPU with 2 gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of solid state storage. It has a very good IPS+ display running at 1366 x 768, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, a GPS and killer battery life of 8-9 hours that nearly doubles with the optional keyboard dock. Is it worth the money?
